DOME 4.0 Industrial Engagement Open Day will give an opportunity to learn about data documentation, data management, FAIR (Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable) attributes, and data-centric practices in industrial organizations. The event offers an opportunity to engage with some of the leading practitioners from industrial R&D while exploring the novel business models being investigated in the DOME 4.0 project. The aim is to actively engage with industrial partners and established corporate networks both within and outside the consortium in supporting further development of proposed digital ecosystem solutions by providing ideas, guidance, technical recommendations, and innovative exploitation routes to ensure future compatibility with consistent data and knowledge representation and best practices within different organizations.
The OntoTrans related project DOME 4.0 aims to offer a semantic industrial data ecosystem for knowledge creation and data sharing across the entire materials to manufacturing value chains. The ecosystem puts forward a formal, ontology-based documentation for open and confidential data spaces. DOME 4.0 offers a multi-sided digital ecosystem to cater heterogeneous data, tools, and services applicable to wider sectors.
